Career Coaches

Jackson County is dedicated to ensuring every high school student has the opportunity to develop a post-graduation plan that leads to being enrolled, employed or enlisted.

This program helps students discover their PASSION, linking them to a PURPOSE that leads to a PAYCHECK. Watch more of our P3 testimonials below.

Job Videos

Through job video testimonials, our students are exposed to many former Jackson County students who now live and work in the area across different career fields. Our hope is that students will be inspired by these former students to find their own pathways to success.

What People Are Saying

How it works

P3 is a workforce development program built on three key components:

Step One: Develop a Plan

1

A career coach in each of Jackson County’s seven high schools helps students identify their passions and develop a plan for enrollment, employment, or enlistment following graduation.

Step Two: Aptitude Assessment

2

An aptitude assessment through a nationally-recognized platform, YouScience, which connects a student’s natural abilities to careers.

Step Three: Local Connections

3

Exposure to short, high-energy job videos and direct connections to local business and industry through site visits.

Our coaching team is committed to helping students identify strengths, overcome challenges, and raise awareness of opportunities in Jackson County that lead to a paycheck in a rewarding and interesting field, an enlistment with the military, or enrollment in a high-quality training and/or educational program that leads to a sustainable job.

Our Coaches

Our career coaches come from diverse backgrounds. Their goal is to help students identify their individual interests and talents and develop a pathway to success. To put it simply, they help our students discover their passion, which helps identify their purpose and leads them to a paycheck.

Read our coach biographies below, and you will see these individuals represent a diverse array of careers and life experiences. This intentional diversity equips our coaches to successfully guide students from various backgrounds, academic levels, and personal interests.
