Career Coach Supervisor

David Fava

Through 30 years of service in public education, David Fava brings a wealth of experience to the P3: Passion. Purpose. Paycheck. initiative as the career coach supervisor. With both academic and extensive career technical expertise, David understands Passion, Purpose, Paycheck is more than a slogan; it is a life-transforming process. David retired as the Gulfport School District Career Technical Education Director, where creation of the Academic Institutes at Gulfport High School was a highlight of his career. The Institutes are in their ninth year and have served as a model to other high schools across the state and southeastern region. David also served on the Mississippi Department of Education task force developing the College and Career Readiness course, now mandated in every Mississippi high school. Borrowing from the work of Viktor Frankl, David explains the role of the career coach simply, “The career coaches’ meaning in life is to help the students find theirs.”
